Vita Coco is hiring a Quality Assurance Coordinator to report directly to the Quality Manager. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 3 days-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan office.

Responsibilities:


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality activities, including inspection reports, test results, certifications, and compliance documents.
• Organize and archive quality-related documents for easy retrieval and reference, ensuring records are accessible and up to date.
• Assist with creation, revisions, and renewals of quality-related documents and certificates.
• Assist with annual re-certifications for Kosher, Non-GMO, and Organic.
• Gather, organize, and share documents for new customer setup.
• Collect documentation for customer-specific document requests.
• Manage the quality sample and overall cleanliness of the QA storage area.
• Perform routine analytical, packaging, and sensory testing to verify product quality and performance on retain samples and market samples.
• Maintain and retain samples from co-manufacturers.
• Input data into quality management systems accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generate routine reports summarizing quality metrics and assist in analyzing data for trends or issues.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Experience with testing methodologies and data analysis techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of Kosher, Non-GMO, and Organic certification processes is a plus.

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
