The Vita Coco Company seeks an experienced SAP EDI Analyst.
Job Description:
- Main POC for EDI and SAP IDOC at the Vita Coco Company globally, supporting the US, Europe and Singapore business teams.
- Work with SPS Commerce (US) and TrueCommerce (Europe) to troubleshoot any ongoing EDI issues with Customers, Warehouses, etc.
- Work with SPS Commerce (US) and TrueCommerce (Europe) to also implement any new trading partners and requested enhancements for existing partners
- Monitor the continued success and improve the performance of the various EDI transmissions automatically being sent to and from The Vita Coco Company on a day-to-day basis, ex. EDI 850, 810, 940, 943, 944, 950.
- Ensure successful automated integration of inbound EDI messages to business applications used by the Vita Coco Company. Most importantly SAP ERP which is done through IDOCs.
- Work with the various business teams as well as SAP consultants to troubleshoot IDOC issues and implement fixes/improvements.
- Implement new IDOC types for new EDI messages in collaboration with SPS Commerce/TrueCommerce on the EDI side and SAP consultants on the IDOC side.
- Assist with the IDOC integration from the Infomatica MDM platform for new SAP ERP master data and master data changes.
- Work with other IT resources to also integrate EDI messages and their contents into data lakes where they can used for visualization, such as Power BI dashboards.
- Help implement a new OMS platform that will involve a customer facing portal that integrates documents to SAP ERP via IDOC.
- Discover new ways for the business to leverage EDI or other B2B communication types to automate redundant back-end business processes and offer more insights.
- Clearly and thoroughly document EDI processes and other automated integration workflows at The Vita Coco Company.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology or business field. Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working with implementing as well as supporting SAP IDOCs for integrations to and from SAP ECC ERP systems.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working with EDI documents, preferably ones commonly used in CPG, Ex. 850, 810, 940, 945, 943, 944.
- Must have 3 years of experience working cross functionally to support different business units, such as Accounting, Operations, etc.
- Must have 3 years of experience performing IDOC testing in SAP ECC ERP as well as leading testing sessions with business users from various departments.
- Experience working in the CPG industry and understanding common business processes performed through SAP ERP ECC in modules MM, SD and FI is a significant plus.
- Experience working with external parties and their EDI/B2B teams, specifically warehouses and customers, is a significant plus.
- Experience understanding how WMS and OMS platforms operate as well as how they are integrated to and from is a significant plus.
At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
